RI Center for the Book | Author Event

I’m pleased to share that I’ll be among the RI authors featured at the Rhode Island Center for the Book’s Back to School Book Bash: Mix and Mingle with Local Authors and Illustrators, taking place September 23 from 5:30–8 p.m. at Ochre Court in Newport.

As an author, there is something particularly meaningful about participating in an event that not only celebrates Rhode Island’s literary community, but also helps put books into the hands of readers across our state.

Funds raised during the evening will support the purchase of new, relevant books for Rhode Island schools and libraries.

I’m also excited that The Vampire, book one in The Vampire series, will be available for purchase through the Salve Regina Bookstore during the event.

For those who have followed my work — or who are curious about discovering it for the first time — I would love the opportunity to meet you, talk about The Vampire, or any of my other novels, the worlds I’ve created, and celebrate the power of books and storytelling together. 

The evening will feature local authors and illustrators, music, a raffle, drinks and light fare, all within the extraordinary setting of Ochre Court in Newport.
