Meeting Smokey Robinson and Jeffrey Osborne

The Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Classic’s Red Carpet Welcome Reception at Bally's Twin River Casino tonight was phenomenal, as was meeting musical legends like Jeffrey Osborne and Smokey Robinson and hearing them sing live. Jeffrey was even kind enough to share some Prince stories with me.

Jeffrey Osborne grew up in RI, and music played a major role in his upbringing. Since its inception in 2012, the Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Classic has delivered over $1,000,000 to local Rhode Island non-profits. The RI organizations receiving contributions from this year’s Celebrity Classic include Amos House, the Music School of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence, The MET School, Button Hole, and St. Mary’s Home for Children.
