Extra-Terrestrial Novel Finished...

Today, after a year and eight months, I finally finished writing my latest novel about an extra-terrestrial race who, along with human beings, call the universe home. They are part of an ancient alien civilization whose mission is to take one human being on an interstellar journey that they hope will positively impact the whole of mankind in the future. 

Whenever I write the final scene of a book, I sometimes sit there for a few minutes and ask myself if I really did just finish it, because after working so hard for so long, it's hard to believe it's actually done. Well, almost... 

Now on to the editing process.
